“I never accepted those terms”
Each order points to the exact version of your terms and privacy policy in force at checkout, with its text kept.
Plugin for WooCommerce
WooCommerce asks customers to tick the terms and conditions box, but does not keep which version each customer accepted, nor any proof of it. Sellat Proof for WooCommerce stores, with every paid order, the exact version of your terms and privacy policy, together with the order itself, in timestamped proof anchored on Polygon and Bitcoin.
eIDAS And on the orders that matter most, the eIDAS qualified timestamp from FNMT-RCM, with a legal presumption across the EU. With the Pro account, 3 a month included.

You cannot know which order it will be. So the plugin keeps all of them, the moment they are paid, without you doing anything.
Each order points to the exact version of your terms and privacy policy in force at checkout, with its text kept.
The order’s date, amounts, products, status and payment method, recorded when it was paid and anchored on public networks.
Each change to the content of your legal pages is a new version, with its fingerprint and its text. You will know what they said on the day of each order.
More than a saved checkbox
A snippet or a plugin that saves “accepted” on the order helps, but you control that data and it can be changed. Proof has to stand without your admin.
| Just the checkbox, in your database | Sellat Proof for WooCommerce | |
|---|---|---|
| That the customer accepted | Yes | Yes |
| The exact text they accepted | No | Yes, every version with its text |
| A date that does not depend on you | No | Yes, anchored on Polygon and Bitcoin |
| Checkable by a third party without your admin | No | Yes, with the proof pack |
| eIDAS qualified timestamp | No | With the Pro account |
What it records
Each order’s record carries what it takes to prove it, and nothing more.
Number, dates, amounts, products, status and payment method, the version of the terms and privacy policy accepted, and a fingerprint of the customer’s email.
Terms, privacy, returns and shipping. Each time the content of one changes, a new version is recorded with its exact text.
Never the customer’s name, address, email or phone, unless you turn on custody of the full order in the Pro account. Only a fingerprint (hash) is published on the public networks.
Two ways to protect it
Both keep the record of every order and of your legal pages. What changes is when and how it is anchored.

How it looks in your shop
A box on every order, a column in the list and a section of its own under WooCommerce → Sellat.
Verifiable without Sellat
From each order you download a proof pack. Once downloaded, it checks with standard tools, even if Sellat no longer existed. Your shop also keeps its own copy of every record.
Built for WooCommerce
Requires WordPress 6.5 or later, WooCommerce and PHP 8.1 or later.
Frequently asked questions
With the plugin, every paid order keeps the version of your terms and privacy policy in force at checkout, with its exact text and the date, in proof anchored on Polygon and Bitcoin. You only choose which legal pages it watches.
Yes: it provides the order and the terms the customer accepted, with a reliable date. The Polygon and Bitcoin proof is technical: anyone can check it with standard tools and, if needed, an expert witness explains it. The eIDAS qualified timestamp of the Pro account goes further: it enjoys a legal presumption of the accuracy of its date and time and of the integrity of the data across the European Union (art. 41(2) of Regulation (EU) 910/2014).
Yes. The proofs are made by the Sellat service. The free account includes the daily protection of your orders and the recording of your legal pages.
No. Only a fingerprint (hash) is published on Polygon and Bitcoin, never personal data. The order’s record carries a fingerprint of the email, not the email. The email only goes in the proof pack you download from the order in your shop, so whoever receives it can check it.
Nothing in your shop: the checkout never waits. Sellat is the link to Polygon, Bitcoin and FNMT; if one does not respond, the proof stays queued and is completed as soon as it is back, with retries. If Sellat itself does not respond, the plugin keeps the order and sends it later.
Yes, with both.
They stay in Sellat, and by default the plugin leaves each order’s link to its proof and your local copies in place. Deleting it forgets the key and the settings.
